My name is Julia (she/her), and I am a Counsellor registered with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA). I take pride in offering an integrative approach to counselling, focusing on each client's unique needs and supporting them in a way that suits them best. My counselling style is trauma-informed and client-centered, aiming to create and hold a safe space where clients can explore and witness their true selves.
I am deeply inspired by the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, which posits that "there are no bad parts." It is an honor to witness and fully accept others as they are, recognizing that we are all inherently valuable and worthy. My role as a counsellor is to facilitate your journey towards self-discovery and healing, ensuring that your personal experience, identity, and goals are at the forefront of our work together.
Throughout my life, many people have remarked that I was born a helper. I have always found ways to support others with a non-judgmental and warm approach. This natural inclination led me to pursue a career in counselling, where I continue to be drawn to the profound social and emotional connections I can foster with my clients.
Currently, I offer online counselling sessions, allowing me to reach clients far and wide from my home on beautiful Bowen Island. In my personal time, I embrace all things creative, nature-related, and wellness-oriented. I am a curious soul who loves to explore the natural world around me, often accompanied by my beloved dog.
Thank you for considering me as your partner in your wellness journey. I look forward to working together and supporting you in discovering and embracing your true self.
